Brescia’s advocacy for Black girls and women to embrace and live their best divine life began during her college years. Feeling a deep desire to make a difference, she dedicated her extra time to volunteering as a mentor with local youth programs for at-risk teenage girls. This early passion for mentorship laid the foundation for her lifelong commitment to Uplifting Black Girls and Women.

Her work continued in the Raleigh-Durham, NC area, where she led various impactful projects. In 2014, Brescia founded and sponsored the Virtuous Woman Expo, a platform to celebrate and support women in their virtuous journey and goals as women, wives, mothers and business owners. Additionally, she established an afterschool mentoring program for teenage girls at local community centers, providing guidance and inspiration to help them thrive.

brescia is a wife, boy mom of four, born and raised in virginia who lives in raleigh, nc. she initially attended shaw university and later transferred to north carolina wesleyan university where she received her b.s. degree in organization administration. outside of mentoring, her professional background also includes her roles is in human resources with the environmental protection agen cy and in health administration with the national center for health promotion and disease prevention.
